The famous TV show host of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and Food Network star, Guy Fieri, is opening a delivery-only restaurant right here in Colonie, New York on Wolf Road! This ghost restaurant, called Flavortown Kitchen, is operating out of existing brick-and-mortar eateries all around the country. This is the first time Guy Fieri has expanded into the Upstate New York region, and so far, people are excited for what comes next.
Fieri opened his first restaurant in California in 1996, and has since expanded to over 120 locations in 25 different states. Prior to his restaurant chain career, Fieri has been celebrated on television as "The Next Food Network Star" in 2006 and is most famous for his television debut of "Triple D", where Fieri travels around the country to taste popular menu items from mom-and-pop-style restaurants.
The Flavortown Kitchen features more than a dozen items on the menu including shareable portions of appetizers like Jalapeño Pig Poppers and Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. The menu also includes numerous hand-held food items like Burgers and Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. The entrees include Chicken Parm-eroni, Cajun Chicken Alfredo, and a couple salad options as well. Be sure not to leave out dessert; the Chocolate Whiskey Cake looks incredible.
This Albany restaurant will operate out of the Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant located on Wolf Road and opens daily from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm. Due to it's status as delivery-only, orders can be placed directly through their website or through popular delivery services including DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats.
